Classroom Communication Boards—Spanish: Teacher and Student Kit

A Spanish version of the 10 classroom communication boards and one slightly larger Teacher Board composed of core vocabulary and foundational academic vocabulary for use as a low-tech augmentative alternative communication (AAC) tool to promote communication with our nonverbal and emerging communicators in all academic settings. Core vocabulary is a research-based term referring to a relatively small set of high frequency words used across activities and environments to express basic wants, needs and ideas. Consistent modeling and use of core vocabulary in all academic environments promotes development of foundational communication skills and supports access to literacy.
